Planner and Urban Designer, Brook McIlroy

Blair Scorgie is a Registered Professional Planner and Urban Designer with Brook McIlroy. He holds a Master of Architecture, specializing in Urban Design, from McGill University as well as a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University. Blair is a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Professional Planners Institute, a Panelist on the City of London Urban Design Review Panel, and a  Lecturer, Client, and Advisor at Ryerson University’s School of Urban and Regional Planning.
 
Blair has experience managing Streetscape and Public Realm Design Strategies; Architectural Control and Private Realm Design Strategies; Revitalization and Intensification Strategies; Waterfront, Campus and District Master Plans; Official Plan, Secondary Plan, and Zoning By- Law Amendments; Development Approvals and Appeals; and Architectural and Urban Design Peer Reviews.
 
Notable projects include the Regina Laneway and Garden Suites Design Guidelines; the Saskatoon Neighbourhood Infill Development Strategy; the Memorial University of Newfoundland Fisheries and Marine Institute Campus Master Plan; the Fleming College Frost Campus Master Plan; the Downsview Park Stanley Green Precinct Plan and Architectural Control Guidelines; the Guelph Downtown Built Form Standards and Streetscape Manual; the University of Saskatchewan College Quarter Master Plan; the Kingston Williamsville Main Street Study; the Whitby Waterfront Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan; the North Oakville Secondary Plan and Urban Design Guidelines; and the Toronto Avenues and Mid-Rise Buildings Study.
