Carmen Smith

Carmen has over 25 years combined experience in the public sector, including stakeholder relations and engagement, as well as public consultation and policy development. She also has an extensive background working with non-profit and labour organizations who advocate for positive social change and progressive public policy.
 
Carmen currently works with Toronto Community Housing as a Manager, Revitalization and Renewal Communities in downtown Toronto. Key areas of her work include developing and implementing strategies for resident and external stakeholder engagement, youth engagement, developing and implementing local community economic development plans, and securing partnerships to leverage resources to support healthy communities.
