Partner and Managing Director of Cultural Heritage, MHBC Planning

Dan Currie, MA, MCIP, RPP, CAHP is a Partner and Managing Director of Cultural Heritage at MHBC’s Kitchener office and has over 17 years experience in both municipal planning and private consulting.  Dan joined MHBC in November 2009 after working in various positions in the public sector since 1997 including the City of Kitchener, the City of Waterloo and most recently as the Director of Policy Planning for the City of Cambridge. Dan has undertaken numerous neighbourhood and community level planning exercises that have addressed complex and often competing interests and needs, and has experience in the development of heritage plans and policies, including cultural heritage master plans, heritage conservation district studies and plans, heritage impact assessments, and heritage policy evaluation.  Dan is a Full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Professional Planners Institute, and a Professional Member of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals
