Ian Roul

Ian is a Project Manager and Associate with Dillon Consulting, and has 12 years’ experience working and studying in the field of ecology and environmental planning. Since joining Dillon, Ian has led and managed projects that include environmental planning, ecosystem restoration design and long-term monitoring programs. He has also managed and coordinated environmental planning projects that require interaction and approval from various regulatory agencies such as conservation authorities, Ministry of Natural Resources and Department of Fisheries and Oceans. 

 

Ian has worked extensively with the private sector on environmental studies required to allow for development, such as environmental impact studies. Ian is a technical leader in Dillon’s work on Low Impact Development, and has contributed to multiple projects and studies on the feasibility and effectiveness of such techniques in the southern Ontario context. He has also led the terrestrial ecology component of a number of environmental assessments for projects that include new roads, road expansions, well expansions and transformer stations.
