A registered professional planner, Mr. MacKenzie has been the Commissioner of Planning and Development with the City of Vaughan since 2011. Previously, John held positions with Ontario Realty Corporation/Infrastructure Ontario, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and the Ministry of the Environment. In addition to his real estate, planning, development and infrastructure responsibilities, he has served as an Advisory Committee Member of the Ontario Greenbelt Foundation.
