Matt Reid

Matt Reid has a Bachelor of Community Design (Honours in Urban Design) from Dalhousie University, and a Master of Arts (Planning) from the University of Waterloo. As a Project Manager at Brook McIlroy, Matt has led over thirty projects at a variety of scales, including campus and neighbourhood master plans, mobility hub studies, urban design guidelines, avenue studies, secondary plans, peer reviews, and public consultation and visioning exercises. Matt establishes a strong and successful working relationship with all clients, as demonstrated through repeat clients on many of his projects.

In addition to project management, Matt is regularly engaged in offi ce projects as an urban designer and planner. This provides him with a practical understanding of the application and adaptation of urban design and planning best practices from visioning to implementation. His involvement in these projects includes document preparation, policy research and analysis, site evaluation and design, 3-D Modeling and graphic preparation, and the preparation and facilitation of community and stakeholder workshops.
