Peter Milczyn was first elected to the Ontario Legislature in 2014 as the MPP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore. He currently serves as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure, with a special concentration on infrastructure development. He also serves as the Chair of Toronto Caucus and the Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs. Over the course of his 17 year career in municipal politics, Peter has been a staunch advocate for not only Etobicoke-Lakeshore but also the City of Toronto as a whole. He has been a vocal champion for the expansion of public transit, planning reform and the provision of affordable housing. During his time on Toronto City Council, he chaired Toronto’s Planning and Growth Committee, served as TTC Commissioner for eight years, served as a Member of The City of Toronto Executive Committee and as a member of BUILD Toronto. Peter is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Architecture with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
