Claire Hicks is the Manager for Future Ready™ , an innovation program that applies across WSP Canada and connects with WSP’s global regions. The program is designed to support and enable clients and staff to understand the trends that are occurring today and into the future, and then to operationalize those in their designs and services to deliver solutions that are ready for an ever-changing future. With a background in environment and sustainability from her education, Claire joined WSP UK in 2015, where she has worked on sustainability strategy, environmental performance and climate change adaptation for a range of clients across sectors. Claire moved to Canada to design and lead Future Ready for WSP Canada. Through Future Ready, she strives to influence our 8500 staff to deliver resilient, sustainable and people-centered project solutions that address trends in climate, society, technology and resources. Working closely with staff and clients alike, Claire takes a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to project delivery, keeping innovation at the forefront to guide teams to lead the way in delivering solutions that are ready for the future.
