#2GETHER2022
Facing change and guiding Ontario into the next quarter century
As geographer-turned-planner, I see everything as an interconnected network of systems operating at different scales. I apply this perspective in my work as a planner for the City of Barrie, whether it is working on a sign application for a historic building or developing policy directions for the city’s Official Plan. Prior to coming to the City I worked at the County of Simcoe for over five years. My experience working at the municipal/single tier and the regional/upper tier level has given me insight on the broad range of issues land-use planners face in their daily practice. Despite this I see myself as young professional, and I am eager to collaborate and learn from my colleagues to analyze issues and problem-solve. Education background: Honours B.A. Geography – Brock University; Master of Arts in Geography – Brock University.
