Gregory Bender’s municipal planning experience includes the preparation of Official Plans, Sustainability Plans, Zoning By-laws, Growth Management Strategies, Strategic Plans, Urban and Rural Design Guidelines, and several other planning studies. He has also been the lead on several community planning workshops and community consultation sessions.
This work has been undertaken for small and large urban centres, rural municipalities, and those with a broad economic base in Northern, Southern, and Eastern Ontario. He has provided expert testimony at several Ontario Municipal Board hearings.
Gregory has also gained a wide range of private sector experience in the preparation of several Planning Act applications including Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments. Oftentimes this work would include designing, submitting, and expediting approval of various development proposals on behalf of private sector clients.
