Senior Parctice Leader - Urban Design, WSP Canada

John Wright holds professional designations as a both a Planner and Landscape Architect, but spends his days somewhere between those disciplines as an urban designer.  He is a Senior Practice Leader in WSP Canada’s Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design group, working out of the Ottawa studio.
 
Relevant to this Workshop, he is a member of Urban Sketchers, a global community, that practices drawing on location.  They share a common philosophy that sketches are complete “pieces” rather, than studies for more detailed execution.  John’s work can be seen on his Sketch Journal blog.  http://johnssketchjournal.blogspot.com/
