Current approaches for regulating zoning for cannabis facilities promotes and accelerates monopolization in the cannabis industry. Learn which planning tools are involved in the building of cannabis production facilities and the criticisms of this process. Take-aways: Planners will better understand the current tools that are in place to plan for farming and how these the way these are currently implemented hinder local farming. Planners will also understand the bureaucratic process which a cannabis farmer must go through in this newly regulated field.
