Alison graduated from Trent University with a Master’s of Science in 2011 in the field of Limnology and Urban Ecology. Alison joined South Nation Conservation in 2011 and worked on Source Protection Planning until she left to work for a local County as Manager of Planning in 2015. In 2018 Alison returned to South Nation to pursue a passion for environmental planning. In addition to managing a diverse team of professionals in planning, regulations, and building code services, Alison provides development reviews for planning applications and drafts policy for municipal projects (Natural Heritage Systems, Source Water Protection, Official Plans and Zoning By-laws).
