Beatrice Ekoko is a Senior Project Manager at Environment Hamilton. She has been working on sustainability projects for over thirteen years, including energy conservation, renewable energy, greening sacred spaces, Greenbelt protection, and habitat enhancing in support of local biodiversity.
The Friendly Streets Hamilton initiative is one of her favourite projects to manage because as an advocate of environmental justice, there are many opportunities to create more equitable, more vibrant neighbourhoods using mobility justice as a critical lens.
Beatrice is a communications specialist and freelance writer. She is skilled at community engagement and quick at recognizing and acting on opportunities for stakeholder collaborations.
