Senior Planner, City of Toronto

Christine Ono is a Senior Planner in the City of Toronto's Strategic Initiatives, Policy & Analysis Section. In her current role, she is the engagement lead for the development of Toronto's Inclusionary Zoning policy. Through development review, she also implements housing policies to secure new affordable housing and maintain the City's existing supply of affordable rental housing. Prior to joining the City, Christine spent seven years in the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing developing provincial planning policies and legislation, including Ontario's legislative framework for Inclusionary Zoning.
