Claire is a social scientist specializing in research and process design for systems change, based at the MaRS Solutions Lab. She thrives on bringing diverse groups of people together in a meaningful way to tackle the complex problems we face in society. Claire builds systems change capacity for a range of sectors, including in housing affordability, urban resilience, transportation regulation, and innovation in education. She convenes Canada’s lab practitioner community of practice, and is currently leading two housing affordability labs. Claire’s international research and entrepreneurial work largely focused on leveraging technology for social good. She holds an MSc in Science and Technology Studies from the University of Edinburgh, UK.
