Janice Barry is a settler-Canadian and Assistant Professor in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo. She has held previous appointments at the University of Manitoba, University of Sheffield (UK), and University of Glasgow (UK). Janice is also a Registered Professional Planner, whose scholarly work focuses on questions of Indigenous recognition and reconciliation in and through planning, with a particular interest in urban land claims and other treaty settlement agreements.
