Johanna Hashim is a Senior Consultant with SHS Consulting. She joined the firm in 2008 after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Ryerson University. Prior to coming to Canada, Johanna completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. Johanna has twelve years of professional experience in the housing research and policy development field. Since joining SHS, she has actively participated in over three dozen housing studies, including comprehensive municipal housing strategies, housing and homelessness plans, and housing needs assessments. She has also worked on several research studies related to the housing and support service needs of seniors and persons with disabilities. Johanna is also an engagement specialist with extensive experience in designing and leading community and key stakeholder engagements.
