Master’s student in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo

Kaitlin Webber is a Master’s student in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo. She graduated from the Queen’s-Trent Concurrent Education Program, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Geography and French Studies, and her Bachelor of Education with a focus in Environmental Education. Kaitlin has been involved in several community-based research projects, including designing environmental programming for a non-profit in Haliburton; supporting Waterloo’s age-friendly initiatives; and guiding St. Catharines’ strategy for private tree protection and management. Her current research explores the relationship between light rail transit and retail gentrification in Kitchener-Waterloo.
