Vivian is an architect, planner and urban designer with experience in neighbourhood planning, sustainability and outdoor open spaces. She has coordinated and assisted multidisciplinary teams in various design and planning processes, from site and community plans to urban design guidelines, development application and sustainability certification. She has also been involved in urban design projects in Canada and Brazil to engage communities in the participatory process of building better places for all. Her Master’s research focuses on planning and design initiatives to help create child-friendly public open spaces in high-density communities. Through her work, Vivian has centered on the design of inclusive, fun and comfortable people-oriented public spaces.
