105: In Search of the Missing Middle: A How To Discussion Panel

Many Ontario communities are in the midst of a housing affordability crisis. This crisis inhibits communities' abilities to attract and retain a diverse range of people—economical, cultural, age, and ability—and impacts its growth, sustainability and equity. Join OPPI's Community Design Working Group's discussion about the benefits of encouraging a variety of housing types—the missing middle—the challenges associated with building non-luxury rental, both in small communities and mature neighbourhoods.

• Understand the importance of attracting and maintaining mid-range housing types
• Gain knowledge about how to overcome challenges associated with building non-luxury rental housing in various marketplaces
