OPPI welcomes you as a Candidate member and congratulates you on taking this important step towards Full membership.
 
Candidate membership entitles you to:

• Preferred rates on admission to OPPI events and professional development courses
• Subscriptions to OPPI's publication, Y Magazine
• Access to insurance packages available to members
• Networking opportunities with planners throughout Ontario
• Access to the OPPI website and online resources
• Be a Voting Member for OPPI elections

There are a number of steps you need to complete before you may use the title “Registered Professional Planner” or the letters “RPP” after your name. This designation is reserved for Full and Retired Members only. The Professional Standards Board (PSB) is your first point of contact if you have any questions about the RPP certification process.

Please note:  beginning with your first full year of Candidate Membership with OPPI, you will be required to record and complete Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) activities. CPL demonstrates a commitment from our members to maintain competency on a continual basis, as well as, remaining current with contemporary theories, methods and practice within the profession.
