President's Message

As President of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning OPPI Members. You are part of an organization of more than 4,500 members in Ontario in government, private industry, community agencies and academic institutions in a variety of specialties across the province. Together, we are the recognized voice of the planning profession in Ontario.

There are many diverse opportunities available to be engaged and involved in OPPI.

Be engaged! Keep up on the latest in planning and the Institute's activities by reading OPPI's publication, Y Magazine, the Planning Exchange blog, and our digital newsletter, The Planner. Participate in OPPI's annual Conferences, attend District events and participate in Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) opportunities. Visit our website and follow OPPI on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
 
Be involved! Volunteers are at the heart of OPPI. Members contribute in many ways through a range of projects and participating on District Teams, Program Committees and Strategy Groups. Don’t forget to keep your profile up-to-date so that you can volunteer to participate in these opportunities.
