Retired

OPPI welcomes you and congratulates you on your retirement and encourages you to continue to be engaged in the profession.

Retired members should now put “RPP (Ret.)” after your name in official correspondence. Under OPPI By-Laws, we are required to ask that you return to the OPPI office your certificate of registration and any seal you may have, either in the form of a rubber stamp or a metal embosser, as these are the property of the Institute. If you have already returned them to OPPI, please disregard this request.

As a Retired Member, you will continue to benefit from the services you have always received from OPPI. We will send you mailings about upcoming events and the latest issues of OPPI's publication, Y Magazine. You can also stay up-to-date on OPPI news through the Institute’s website. You also have the option of maintaining your professional liability insurance through OPPI.

To maintain your status as a Retired Member, you will need to reapply every year using the online membership renewal system, which will appear in your Member Profile annually at renewal time.  If at any time you decide to return to the planning practice, please let OPPI know so your status may be changed back to Full Member. Additional fees may apply such as those for the mandatory liability insurance.
