2018 Annual Report

Notice of Meeting

The 2018 Annual General Meeting of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) will take place Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Science North in the City of Greater Sudbury at 5:30 p.m. for the purpose of:

  • Reports of the Treasurer and President
  • Items for Membership Consideration:
    • Appointment of Auditor
    • Approval of Actions of Council
    • Motions Submitted by Members
    • Election Results and Introduction of 2018/19 Council

Notification of the Call for Nominations of Directors was sent to all members by way of the Members e-newsletter in February and March 2018 and posted on the OPPI website. Nominations for the election of Directors at the AGM are received in accordance with section 3 of the OPPI General By-Law.

Member Proposed Motion

Request for submission of substantive motions for the Annual General Meeting was sent to all members by way of the Members e-newsletter in June and July 2018 and posted on the OPPI website. No motions were received by the Registrar by the deadline of July 16, 2018. Motions concerning substantive issues that were not provided in writing by the above date will not be considered at the AGM.

Proxy Process

Voting members (Full (practicing), Retired or Candidate) who cannot attend the meeting are asked to complete the proxy form by Monday, October 2, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. EDT.
