Are We the North? Learning about Northern Ontario Municipalities

This session will familiarize participants with the 144 northern municipal councils—the issues they face and with the practical aspects of travelling to northern council and staff meetings. With almost one-third of Ontario’s municipalities located in the north, this session will aid new planners or consultants in preparing for presentations to councils, planning boards, and residents of the north.
