Toronto's Residential Apartment Commercial Zone: New Zoning, New Opportunities for Complete Communities

The City of Toronto's RAC zone is the first amendment to the new city-wide zoning bylaw to implement a vital policy initiative, enabling the transformation of nearly 500 single-use suburban sites into more complete communities. The session will highlight the confluence of interests leading to this singular initiative for "Tower Renewal", providing insight about pilot projects, community consultation, and defining and implementing the RAC zone.
