MW16: The Reurbanization of St. Clair Avenue West

This mobile workshop will comprise a streetcar visit to one of Toronto's major east-west thoroughfares, St. Clair Avenue West. Recently, as part of the city's avenue program and the dedicated street car right-of-way, it has become an area of revitalization, renewal and reurbanization. A variety of presenters will tell the story of St. Clair Avenue West through the perspective of city planners, the local councillor and private developers.

• Providing specific case studies and examples of reurbanization
• Pros and cons of reurbanization including lessons learned
