Arvin Prasad

Arvin Prasad, Director, Integrated Planning Division, Region of Peel is responsible for leading the development of plans and policies to ensure the Region’s growth and development is planned and managed to achieve a healthy, sustainable Region.  A few of these responsibilities include updating the Regional Official Plan, managing the Corporate Project Management Office and implementing the greenlands securement strategies.  Of note is Peel’s recent conformity exercise to Places to Grow, which was the first Regional official plan to conform and had only one appeal, which was later settled. 

 

Arvin is a graduate of Ryerson’s Urban and Regional Planning program and UWO’s Masters in Public Administration.  He is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Professional Planners Institute.  He also has training in conflict resolution, project management and has taken various other leadership courses.
