Kevin Muir, MCIP, RPP is a Senior Planner with GSP Group and brings 13 years of planning and urban design experience in both the municipal and consulting sectors. With GSP Group, Kevin undertakes a broad spectrum of planning ranging from community and neighbourhood planning and design through to site design and development approvals, and has led or has been involved with the majority of the firm’s urban design projects, including streetscape plans, public realm plans, urban design strategies, and design guidelines. Kevin has led GSP Group’s role in eight community improvement plans prepared in association with RCI Consulting, a role which involved the preparation of public realm strategies that have strived to set the foundation and provide a catalyst for private sector investment, as well as implementation pieces such as design guidelines that provide guidance for incentive programs that may be offered through the community improvement plan.
