Mark Pajot is one of Canada’s first Climate Change Specialist working in municipal government and is nested in the Region of Peel Integrated Planning Division. Mark has over ten years in experience in Public Health achieving environmental health benefits through innovative practice. Mark Pajot leads planning initiatives to reduce community vulnerability to climate change and limit community GhG’s with Peel’s Climate Change Partnership. He’s published a number of articles on the subject of climate change adaptation within public health and most recently helped complete Canada’s first local comprehensive public health vulnerability assessment. Mark also serves as an expert advisor to the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Climate Change Branch.
