Michelle is the Project Manager of Mississauga’s Stormwater Financing Implementation Project and a graduate of the University of Toronto’s M.Sc.Pl. program, where she wrote her major research paper on the potential for stormwater credit programs to create new partnerships between landowners and municipalities in the application of stormwater best management practices. Michelle's career has long been focused at the interface of natural, built and social environments. Prior to joining the planning profession, she literally got her hands dirty in urban waterways through her work in youth engagement and environmental stewardship. She is excited to offer both her knowledge and passion at her session at this year’s conference.
