Michelle Dobbie is a Senior Policy Planner at the Town of Richmond Hill. She has been an integral part of the formulation, drafting, and on-going response to appeals to Richmond Hill’s new Official Plan. Michelle has lead a number of policy and urban design studies on matters ranging from the Urban Structure, Environmental Policy, Urban Design Policy and the Downtown, including the Richmond Hill Urban Design Guidelines. Michelle was also the Town’s project lead for the inter-municipal Sustainability Metrics developed with the City of Brampton and the City of Vaughan, which won a 2014 OPPI Award in the Research/New Directions category. Michelle is full member of OPPI, an Associate Member of OALA and volunteers on OPPI’s Community Design Working Group and the Board of Directors for CNU Ontario.
