Rory Baksh

Rory is an Associate at Dillon with nearly 20 years of experience in zoning by-laws, land development, design guidelines, policy planning, preparation of Official Plans, strategic planning, rural / town / urban / community planning, and stakeholder engagement.  Rory has authored a wide variety of Zoning By-laws, Official Plans, community plans, and design guidelines; these planning documents are characterized by their comprehensiveness, understandable language, and user-friendly format. He has also has excellent experience in official plan / secondary plan policy, growth management, and interpreting the Provincial Policy Statement.

 

Rory holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University.  He is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), and the former Eastern District Representative on OPPI Council.  All of his planning work is conducted with his high degree of competency and ethical standards.
