Allison Evans is a second-year master of planning student in the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change at York University. Her current research interest is emerging modes of urban informality in cities of the global North. Her past research includes settler city formation in Northwestern Ontario and the privatization of student housing in Ontario. While her research interests are diverse, a continuous theme guiding her work is the complications and challenges of everyday life in urban spaces.
