Mariyan Boychev is a second-year master of planning student in the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change at York University. His past research includes the condominium development in Liberty Village Toronto and its consequences for King Street including an assessment of the results from the implementation of the Transit Pilot Project. His interests include creating healthy, equitable, walkable, bicycle-friendly, sustainable and resilient zero carbon communities. His current research is directed towards climate change mitigation through sustainable urban planning.
